We specialize in conserving and restoring 18th, 19th and 20th century paintings, frames, works on paper, documents and photos.

We also offer comprehensive insurance estimates for water and/or fire damaged artworks or works damaged in transit.

Master Conservator, Walter Nowatka, has been practicing art restoration since 1971. He graduated form the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts as a painting major. He continued his studies at Empire State College, State University of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree with a concentration in Art Preservation. He also studied Art History at New York University and painting with acrylics under Rudolph Baranik at the Art Students League.

He is currently assisted by Alexandra Pacula (BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and MFA from Montclair State University), Yi Chin Van Harken (BFA from Caldwell College and MFA from Montclair State University) and Darbie Nowatka (BFA from Rhode Island School of Design).
